OUR STORY
STAY GOLD Marketing & Media is a small [read: nimble, adaptable, affordable] creative, marketing, and media agency focused on creating longterm relationships with the best brands in the outdoor and active lifestyle industries [mostly because that is all we really care to talk about - kinda like Crossfitters and Crossfit... but less obnoxious]. Based in Salt Lake City, design is what drives us - that could be design of a new product graphic, packaging, or ad campaign; or it could be designing an innovative way to get a product to market using content, PR, digital, trade, grassroots events, or a mix to create an impact.
Founded by Creative Director, Dustin Butcher, in 2013 after having worked in-house for some power-house outdoor brands, the whole idea behind STAY GOLD was not to develop a typical agency relationship of swoop-in-design-campaign-then-swoop-out, but to be focused on becoming an ongoing part of the team of each brand we work with. We love working with the product team, engineers, sales professionals, internal marketing teams, etc. to fully understand how best we can add value to what you are already doing.
DUSTIN BUTCHER | Creative Director
Born and raised at the foot of the Wasatch mountains, Dustin’s connection to the outdoors runs deep. During his career he has had the opportunity to work in-house and as an outside resource for some powerhouse brands in the outdoor industry. He is a graduate of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, with a focus in marketing.
JERRICA DEIBER | Marketing + Communications Director
Jerrica graduated from Utah State University with her BA degree in public relations and later finished an MBA while working and traveling full-time as an event director. She has found unique ways to stay connected to the activities she is passionate about. She now manages PR and written communications for our brands.
ABBY COOPER | Content + Athlete Director
Based in Squamish, BC, Abby is at the heart of the Canadian outdoor scene. With over a decade of outdoor industry experience, she brings strategy and growth to our brands and partnerships. She started working with Stay Gold as a splitboard athlete for G3, then quickly began shooting content for our brands, and eventually came onto the team officially to manage content along with our athletes and ambassadors.
MEGAN FODOR-DAVIS | Graphic Designer
Raised in Alaska. Graphic Design degree from the University of Idaho. Time Spent in Bend, OR. And now based in Missoula, MT. Needless to say, Megan is very familiar with the outdoor scene and knows how to design in a way to speak directly to the customers of our brands.
